22nd November Tuesday 2022 Lo: Zombie movie overview Overview The summary of my zombie movie is about a lab leak that releases a virus in a densely populated city and affects most of the population with only few people left to survive and discover this viruses secret. Character profiles Derek Derek is  a scientist that used to work in the lab so his knowledge of biology are very useful to the surrounding group of survivors, though it seems that he is not letting on all he knows. What secrets could he be hiding. Quentin Is a 30 something nihilistic office worker that has nothing but cynicism and pessimism for the world around him and know with the apocalypse on the horizon he has to give up this lack of  love for the world to keep his now orphaned nephew as he seems to both Quentin and his nephew seems to be resistant to zombies. 29th September 2022 lo:to analyse a media text using media language I think this is a mid shot because it shows most but not all of the body and it doesnt show the rest of the set. The clothes are dark and thick so i can assume that this movie is set somewhere cold and that it is a realistic move. In the poster he has a gun and a walkie talkie so we can assume it is an action film. In the poster his facial expression. The background is gold with the numbers 007 which is a reference to the popular game released by the franchise "GOLDEN EYE" In the soundtrack they use the diegetic sounds are made to show how intense the film is like the shouting explosions and guns. I think they create short and snappy cuts to increase the excitement for the film without spoiling anything. But also have short scenes of dialogue to flex the cast of celebrity actors whilst also introducing their characters. Near the end of the film it shows reels of the highest action moments.
